Last updated: 14 Sept 2026. Operator: Farming Domains (ABN 66 786 225 704). This website is an independent, unofficial guide published for general information and trip planning. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), the NSW Government, Destination NSW, Byron Shire Council, Arakwal Corporation, Cape Byron Marine Park managers, or any commercial operator unless explicitly stated.

Walgun Cape Byron is an NPWS State Conservation Area, not a national park. Adjacent Arakwal National Park and Cape Byron Marine Park are other reserves.

Outdoor recreation involves risk. You are responsible for your decisions, fitness, navigation, weather, swimming judgement, cliff edges, parking rules and compliance with reserve rules. Always verify on official NSW National Parks resources and park alerts. Emergencies: call 000. This website cannot assist with rescue.

Fees, hours, café listings and track status on this site are dated snapshots (site review 14 Sept 2026), not live law. Cottage beach access tracks were on a current NPWS erosion alert when we last checked — confirm live before you travel.
